7/30 Thursday

Today’s Bible verse:
Isaiah 53:4-5
4 Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Pray with us:
Gracious lord. We are thankful for all the blessings that you have given us. However, we are not just enjoying your blessings. We remember the love of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice. Jesus, your son experienced the suffering of human beings and tasted the bitterness of the world. Due to the heavy cross that Jesus took up, we are forgiven and we enjoy new life in Christ. Lord, teach us your gentleness and love. Let us learn your humbleness and patience. Now, the world needs heavenly comfort and care. So, let us be the messengers to share the love of God and mercy. Because of you, we are forgiven. So we will be faithful disciples to share your precious lessons. We pray in your name. Amen.
