7/24 Friday

Today’s Bible verse:
Isaiah 25:7-8
7 On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; 8 he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The LORD has spoken.

Pray with us:
As Isaiah exalts and praises you, Father, for all you have done for his people, so we thank you for all You continue to do for us. You give so freely and lovingly preparing feasts, tearing away shrouds, and “ wiping tears from our faces”. We love you and accept your gifts with great gratitude. We love You and believe in your Word. Please strengthen us and remind us that You will always care for us. Help us be joyful and not fearful in your care. Amen.

(Prayer by Barb Charnock)
