Today's Bible verse:

Joshua 24:15

15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”

Pray with us:
Lord, our God, we give you thanks and praise for Joshua's example of steadfastness and obedience.  His decision to choose to serve you was deep, well grounded, and solemnly made.  As a leader, he made the decision for himself as well as his family.  Sometimes we hesitate to serve you, Lord.  There are so many things that distract us especially in times like these.  We each have the capacity to determine our own destiny.  We can choose to love you or not.  We can choose to serve you or not.  These are choices we must make for ourselves.  Be with us, guide, and direct us so that we make right and godly choices.  We pray in Jesus name.  Amen.
