6/25 Thursday

by WCUMC Member on 06/25/20

Today's Bible verse:
Isaiah 40:31
31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Pray with us:
We praise you O God for a new day. You remind us today that we become slaves to sin many times throughout our lives. We fall short when we try to solve our own problems and make amends for our sins. Help us realize that it is only when we confess our sins to you and your Son that we are set free from them. Help us confess with our mouths as well as by the way we live our lives. We know it is only by your grace and your Son’s sacrifice that we are saved. Thanks be to God. Amen.

(Prayer by Wayne Reisberg)
