11/18 Wednesday

Today’s Bible verse:
Nahum 1:3
3 The LORD is slow to anger but great in power; the LORD will not leave the guilty unpunished. His way is in the whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet.

Pray with us:
Almighty God, Nahum's words were meant to comfort Judah after Nineveh's fall. We too are looking for comforting words in a world that seems to have lost its way. We know you are slow to anger and great in power. Guide us to use this knowledge and your love as we make decisions and interact with those around us. We come to you today knowing you are always with us. You know our every thought and deed. Help us make our thoughts and deeds comforting to those around us. Help us to make a positive difference in today's world and for future generations. We pray in your name, Amen.
